Boarding is reserved for small dogs 30 lbs & under to ensure a safe, calm, & cozy environment. Exceptions may be made for senior or medically fragile pets who would benefit from our quiet, low-volume setting. Please reach out to discuss your pet’s specific needs.

To secure your pups spot, a non-refundable retainer of $100 is required at the time of booking. Your reservation is confirmed once the retainer is received.

The remaining balance is due at least 24-hours before your booking begins. Please note, unpaid balances may result in cancellation of your reservation without refund.

Cancellations made 7+ days before your booking are eligible for a refund, minus the non-refundable retainer.

Eligible refunds are processed within 1 business day of cancellation.

Need to adjust your dates? Changes must be requested 7 days in advance and are subject to availability.

Crate & Collar reserves the right to cancel or reschedule bookings in the event of unforeseen circumstances or force majeure.

By making a retainer payment, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions. Please read and understand them thoroughly before proceeding with your booking.

Unaltered males must arrive with disposable wraps for their stay — marking is common in new environments, and since this is our family home, we can’t make exceptions. Females in heat are not permitted and may not return until at least 2 weeks after all signs of heat have ended.

In our efforts to accommodate all pets entrusted to our care, we may find it necessary to address any concerning behaviors with owners. Due to spatial limitations within our residence, prolonged separation of dogs displaying aggression is not feasible. Should your pet exhibit signs of aggression during their stay, a temporary isolation period for acclimatization will be implemented, followed by a gradual reintroduction process to assess their behavior. If these interventions fail to yield desired results, the safety of our household members and guests takes precedence. In such cases, the booking will be cancelled, and owners will have 24 hours (Boarding) or 2 hours (Daycare) to retrieve their pet. In the event that such arrangements cannot be facilitated, and local assistance (emergency contact) is unavailable, we are prepared to offer referrals to alternative providers and provide assistance throughout the transition period. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding in this matter and invite you to reach out should you require further clarification or have any questions regarding this policy.

Pets will need to be picked up on the agreed upon date and time OR notify us of any delays. Crate & Collar will contact the owner and emergency contact on file if owner is a no call, no show. We will hold your pet(s) for a maximum of 2 days before turning over to the Municipality of Anchorage Animal Control

Our timer begins as soon as we reach the front door. It is the client’s responsibility to provide us with instructions for entry, keys, and/or codes.
